A Summer Place is a delightful and spacious family friendly villa located on the beach in Discovery Bay.
The villa has 12,000 square feet of living space to enjoy including the spacious patios and deck areas.
Enjoy the variety of art work the owners have collected over the years!

There are multiple gazebos and furniture groupings for great conversation, relaxation or simply watching the Sunset each day.

A Summer Place has 7 bedrooms all with cable, TV air conditioning, most with ceiling fans ... there is a total of nine baths.
One bedroom and bath down stairs and all others on located on the second floor.

Adding to the charm at A Summer Place you may choose to dine on the families 250 year old heirloom table in the formal living room that sits 14 persons. Other dining areas at the villa will be on the 1500 square foot fully furnished covered veranda that is poolside and has a full sea view ... The 1500 square foot veranda quickly becomes the heart of the home for game and card playing, reading, watch the children in the pool or on the beach.

A short walk brings you to the air-conditioned fitness room for a good workout to music or exercise videos or a game of ping pong.
Grab a cool drink from the wet bar or sit and relax before moving on to your private tennis court for a game of doubles - located just across the lawn! Or over to the beach for snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or enjoying the paddle boards! Everything is at your finger tips at A Summer Place!

A Summer Place is about one hour from the Montego Bay Airport and about a 40 minute drive to the town of Ocho Rios.
Swimming with the Dolphins and Dunn's River Falls is 30 minutes from A Summer Place.

Bedroom 3 ~ Cream Room
Optional king or twin beds. Large bath with tub/shower. TV and VCR. Balcony / sea view.

Bedroom 4 ~ Yellow Room
King size bed + bunk beds for 2 children. Children's bathrobes. En-suite bath with tub/shower. Walk-in closet. TV, VCR, mountain & sea view.

Bedroom 5 ~ Green Room
Two queen size beds. Large bath with Jacuzzi, separate shower, bidet, his and her vanities. TV and VCR. Mountain and sea view.

Bedroom 6 ~ White Room - the downstairs bedroom
King size bed, en-suite bath with tub/shower. Opens to lower veranda and pool terrace. Has TV and VCR.

Bedroom 7 ~ Garage conversion beyond porte-cochere. King bed, en-suite bath with tub/shower. Small porch overlooks the lawn.

Puerto Seco Beach – Complimentary to guests on Discovery Bay
Located near the entrance of Fortlands Road (a 10-15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from your villa), is the newest water park & beach club to the North Coast. For various fees, guests may enjoy the large aqua park, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaks & paddleboards. The club hosts a full service bar and restaurant as well as private beach cabanas or sun loungers for rent.

Good morning Vicki, We had a fabulous time at A Summer Place! The staff was amazing, always attending to our wants and desires! Chef Andre went out of his way to prepare a special dinner for my husband’s 70th birthday. He also helped find and negotiate a steel drum band, we danced the night away!!

Roy, Ricky, Mary, her assistant and the grounds keepers all work nonstop to make our stay unforgettable! Roy, Ricky and Andre even played volleyball with us, so fun!

Our driver Michael was great, I’m glad we had him for the week. For excursions we climbed Dunns Falls River it was exhilarating! We also went to the Luminous Lagoon, was fun to see the colors although most of us felt some stinging from the jelly fish. On our last day we decided to try Porto Secco Water Park complimentary to Discovery Bay guest. What a challenge, loads of fun!!

I’d recommend 15% tip or more to all staff. We received envelopes with each staff’s name and a recommended percentage, this was helpful.

I recommend A Summer Place for a vacation villa, you truly never have to leave, all toys, games & amenities are right there! Thank you for all the work you did to make this vacation so very special. Best, Marie Jan 2024
