The Beach House in Reading is a four-bedroom villa situated on the oceanfront five miles west of Montego Bay with daily maid service only. The housekeeper will prepare dinner for guests as long as the groceries are provided. You can negotiate preparation of additional meals with the houskeeper.

The villa has a small beach, a private jetty, a 50ft swimming pool and a large patio area with ocean view.

The main house (which was built by the Lyle family as a weekend retreat in the 1930s) has two large bedrooms, both with cavernous walk-in wardrobes and en-suite facilities. Both bedrooms have king size, four poster beds. The upstairs room is approached by a covered exterior staircase, so can operate independently of the rooms downstairs, It has a large curved balcony overlooking the sea towards Montego Bay Freeport, where you can see the cruise liners docking in the distance. Downstairs, the bedroom opens onto the front room, an exceptionally large area with sofas, TV, DVD and iPod-compatible stereo, plus a bar/refreshment area. The front room leads out onto the patio. Immediately adjacent to the house, is a single-storey apartment block with one complex comprising two en-suite double bedrooms,sitting room and kitchen area.

Next door is a fully-equipped kitchen and dining room, which overlooks the pool. All the bedrooms at the Beach House have air conditioning and the property has wireless Internet.
